Same-Day Crowns · One-Day Restorations
In Busan Seomyeon, no impressions needed — from intraoral scan to in-house milling, all in one visit.
Popular with patients traveling from far away who need fewer visits, or anyone who can't spare much time.
Milling room · design and machining
Same-day crowns (model-free)
No plaster model is made. The scan data goes straight into design and machining.
If you live in temporary materials for a long time after cavity treatment, bacteria may re-enter. Our in-house lab makes the prosthesis directly, which shortens the time spent in temporary materials.
Travelling from far away and needing fewer visits
Needing the treatment wrapped up quickly
Working people who cannot take much time off
Intraoral scan, shape confirmed together on screen
Designed in anatomical CAD by our experienced technician
Milled and fired in-house, bite adjusted, then set
For a tooth damaged by decay or acid erosion, a zirconia crown brings the tooth back close to its natural form.
Can shorten the time spent in temporary teeth
When conditions allow, it can be set the next day (conventional fabrication usually takes 4–5 days)
The area where decay was removed is scanned and filled with a milled ceramic block. It is generally more resistant to discoloration and wear than resin.
Fills only what is needed, without crowning
Can be finished in one visit, depending on tooth condition
When the examination shows it is possible, treatment can be completed on the day of your consultation
Two-year warranty
How is a one-day crown carried out?
A one-day crown is designed from intraoral scan data instead of an impression, then made with in-house milling equipment and placed. After the tooth is prepared and scanned, the shape and bite are checked on screen during design, followed by fabrication, firing, bite adjustment and placement. Depending on the type of prosthesis and the condition of the tooth, it takes one day or an overnight stay; the exact schedule is advised after examination.
When might a one-day prosthesis be considered?
A one-day prosthesis may be considered if you travel from far away and need to reduce the number of visits, or if your work schedule makes several visits difficult. However, it may not be suitable depending on your gums, the amount of remaining tooth, and your biting habits, so the method is decided after examination. Not every tooth can be restored in one day.
How is a one-day crown different from a regular crown?
With a regular crown, an impression is taken and the crown is made in a dental laboratory, which often means a period wearing a temporary tooth. A one-day crown shortens this process through intraoral scanning and in-house fabrication. Each material and method has its advantages and disadvantages, so we decide together after examination which approach suits you.
How do I care for a one-day prosthesis afterward?
Regular check-ups, proper brushing and flossing remain important after placement. The gums around the crown and your bite need to be checked regularly for the prosthesis to last, and if you grind or clench your teeth, we can advise a protective appliance.
What to check before your one-day crown consultation
If you tell us your schedule before your visit, we will guide you on what treatment is possible. If you have previous treatment records or X-rays, bringing them to the consultation helps. Treatment methods, costs and time vary by individual, and we explain side effects and aftercare in full during the consultation. Contact us by phone or our booking page with any questions about one-day prosthetics.
The times and visit counts above describe typical cases. Gum condition, remaining tooth structure and bone volume can add visits, and if same-day work is not advisable we explain why first. An examination and consultation are required before treatment.
Will my case finish in one day?
It differs from patient to patient. We recommend coming in for a proper examination so we can tell you exactly, rather than guessing from a photo.
